Yosaflame (ヨザフレイム) is the ancestor of Yosafire. He was a demon and one of Kcalb's loyal subordinates who died in the Great War prior to The Gray Garden. Though he makes a cameo in The Gray Garden, he has yet to make a formal debut in Deep-Sea Prisoner's creations. He is also currently missing from the character page.
Physical Description
Yosaflame had short green hair and two long bangs with pink layers underneath them. He also had light red eyes, red-rimmed glasses, and raceless white skin. He wore a white dress shirt, black suit, black tie, and gold earrings. He had pink horns with the shape being somewhat similar to Kcalb's as well. Yosaflame had no particular personal attire that he would wear other than a simple shirt. [2]
He had bad eyesight due to Sherbet's ice magic scarring his eyes; [3] It was an injury that could not be cured. [4] To say more would be a spoiler; Deep-Sea Prisoner plans to reveal this in the future. [4]
Personality
Yosaflame had "cold eyes," [5] and a very cold personality [6] unlike his reincarnation. He also liked apples. [7]
Background
Yosaflame fought alongside Kcalb in the Great War and died while doing so. Not much else is currently known about his past.
Appearances
Cameo
- The Gray Garden - Yosaflame is seen as a silhouette whilst Froze told Yosafire about the events of the Great War. Later in the game, his name can be found on a grave in the Gray Garden's graveyard.
Relationships
Relatives
Yosafire
Yosafire is Yosaflame's reincarnation. Yosafire's outgoing personality starkly contrasts that of her ancestor's stoic demeanor.
In Funamushi Private Deep-Sea Academy, Yosaflame is alive and Yosafire's father. [8]

Sherbet
Sherbet was Yosaflame's enemy. Their relationship was brutal, and they were always trying to kill each other. [11] Sherbet was incredibly obsessed with Yosaflame. [12] He seemed to have had a larger animosity towards Yosaflame. He furthermore called him "Yosaf." Sherbet is the one responsible for Yosaflame's bad eyesight due to his ice magic scarring his eyes. [3] Consequently, Sherbet's left eye is scarred from a past injury Yosaflame inflicted upon him. [13] They were once intimate when Sherbet choked him. [3] Their first kiss tasted of blood.[7]
When they fought, Yosaflame usually had the upper hand. [7] Although, in one battle, Sherbet got lucky and injured Yosaflame's eyes as seen in a Skeb illustration. Sherbet then took advantage of him. [7] However, in their final fight, Sherbet had the upper hand. In the end, Yosaflame killed Sherbet while being mortally wounded himself. [14]
In Funamushi Private Deep-Sea Academy, Sherbet and Yosaflame are not enemies. However, Yosaflame still hates Sherbet very much, and Sherbet likes Yosaflame very much. [15]
In the Genderbend (AU), the couple dynamic between their female counterparts does not change. [3]
