Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea -Reboot- (大海原と大海原 -Reboot-) is a re-release of Deep-Sea Prisoner's third game Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. It features extra content not found in the original game as well as adjustments to gameplay. It was released on the 1st of February 2020. An English translation is currently in the works.
Premise

As far as the story goes, the plot of the game remains unchanged from the original version.
Age Rating
Deep-Sea Prisoner rates the reboot as 15+; the same rating for the original game. However, this rating is based on Japanese standards and may vary from country to country. Hence, an age rating of 18+ may be more appropriate for some. There is graphic content later in the game such as body horror, implied sexual assault, and other violent imagery.
Differences from the Original Game
- Eight stories added to the bonus video section.
- Eight additional songs added to the soundtrack.
- Complete rebalancing of all battles, as well as added attack patterns.
- Unique animations for all weapons, aside from the initial equipment.
- Additional animation to the title call.
- Boss enemies have additional attacks.
- Bosses will drop items related to themselves upon defeat.
- Added dialogue and sprites to certain bad ends.
- Watching all the endings is now possible from the Bonus Room.
- The player can now change outfits within the Bonus Room (pajamas, white sailor outfit, blue sailor outfit).
- Additional cameo appearances.
Trivia
- On January 30, 2020, Deep-Sea Prisoner released the official page for the game early. Shortly after, it was taken down then reopened on February 1, 2020.
- The Reboot introduces a variety of characters who make their first official in-game appearances, such as Minami and Shisatsu.
- Namiho and Namikaze are first introduced in the Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea (Manga). However, their official debut and name reveal occurs in a bonus video in the Reboot.
- Reley Lo makes a cameo appearance in a painting with her sister Irena.
- Daimonji makes a cameo appearance on Lonely Isle.
- Usagi-san makes a cameo appearance on Hydrangea Isle.
- The Reboot features a new way Syakesan is called,[1] as well as Samekichi.
