Undead are a type of species in Deep-Sea Prisoner's works. The category of undead includes any being who is technically deceased, but still possesses some characteristics of living beings, such as consciousness and movement.
Physical Characteristics[]
Some undead, like Met, appear to lose blood either as tears or sweat. Furthermore, undead like Met and Dull appear to be unaffected by the loss of body parts, such as their head. Some undead seem to have a pale whiteish skin tone (not unlike many other species) as well.
Some undead used to be human in the past. However, not all deceased humans turn into undead (such as Victor Flankenstein). [2] It is currently unknown which criteria determine whether a deceased human turns into an undead.

Reproduction and Creation[]
Ghosts and spirits are deceased humans who are chained to the mortal realm either due to regrets or grudges. [3] It is currently unclear whether the undead are able to reproduce.
Social Behavior[]
Social behaviors appear to vary depending on the character. Undead also appear to take on many human traits, such as caring for others. One example is that of Crea Flankenstein finally expressing emotion after the death of her father in Seaside Dispatches 2. Other familial ties that seem to be upheld is the tradition of adoption as seen with Eaudevie and his adopted daughter Kumori.
Trivia[]
- The surnames of non-human species are mostly created by themselves. [4]
- All non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe are semi-immortal. [1]
- Non-human characters do not have birthdays. [5]
