The Totsusa Kingdom (or Totsusa Empire (兎津叉帝国 Totsusa Teikoku) in the manga) is a kingdom ruled by Artamos and located within Ne-no-Kuni.
History[]
The kingdom was on good terms with the Sea Kingdom. It appears to be once more on good terms with the Sea Kingdom after the events of Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea.
Not much is known about the history of this world. However, it is shown in Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea -Reboot- Satanick is the creator of land, sky, and sea; he is also the creator of Artamos. As such, the Totsusa Kingdom is a location within the realm of Ne-no-Kuni. However, despite being the initial creator, Satanick allows Artamos and the Divine Beasts to govern their own territory. [1] Artamos is extremely belligerent, and the Totsusa Kingdom is always getting into fights. [1] They often fight with spears and teeth. [1] However, that is the least of Satanick's concerns. [1]
Residents[]
Role in Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea[]
The kingdom launches an invasion on the Sea Kingdom after the princess receives a threatening letter supposedly from Uomihime.
The kingdom was never seen (only mentioned) in the game or any other official source.
Culture[]
While not much of the culture is known, the style of dress from Artamos, Hofuru, and Totsusahime is that of Eastern inspiration. Before becoming mechanized, Artamos wore a traditional robe. His daughter Totsusahime wears a furisode, nagajuban (kimono undergarment), obi, tabi, and zōri. Hofuru's style is similar, though she also wears a hakama.
During fights, their method of attack involves teeth and spears. [1] They also eat meat. [1]
Locations[]
An overview of what appears to be a town can be seen in the Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea (Manga). The style of roofs is reminiscent of Japanese architecture.
Flora and Fauna[]
Not much is known surrounding the flora and fauna of the land (other than it is inhabited by many bunnies), though the kingdom does appear to have a grassland of sorts and rolling hills.
Climate and Cosmology[]
It is unknown whether the Totsusa Kingdom possesses seasons. However, it appears to have a moon and stars as can be seen in a few illustrations. Wisps of clouds are visible in the red sky. They also appear during nighttime.
Trivia[]
- The Totsusa Kingdom's name was changed to "Totsusa Empire" shortly after the release of the Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea (Manga).
