This was something that i wanted to talk about for a lllooooonnnngggg time but i've been hesitant to address it until it became a big issue. Its about DSPs art. YES YES YES WE ALL KNOW THE STORY . I'm not gonna dwell in to what happened due to time, so anyone oblivious to the situation go here[[1]] But this isn't the problem this time(sort of).
This is the problem: New users usually don't get the memo. For example: A new DSP fan finds out about our wiki, they have no idea about the art ban, they notice the lack of recent pictures DSP has drawn on the wiki, they then decide to post the most recent picture on the wiki. We see the new picture and send them a notice about our situation. This situation repeats again and again. But what can we do about it? Its not their fault that they didn't know beforehand.
So I thought up an idea.
How about on a pages that have galleries and we have a warning below the Gallery sub heading with something like this ( Notice to users: Due to circumstances (art ban talk here) as March 26, 2016 , Please don't repost artwork from Deep Sea Prisoner's website, twitter etc, here. If you want to know what you can upload, please read here[[2]]) I propose this so that new users would know the situation we're in and think twice before adding new pictures. So, what do you guys think?
(I'm was using my Ipad when writing this so sorry if the links look a bit iffy.)
