- The Records of the Deep Sea series will feature the number of each corresponding volume. For example, the cover of The Sea of Glittering Stars, the first volume, will be number one. Deep-Sea Prisoner would like to make the numbers gold based on a Voyager Golden Record, two phonograph records sent to space in 1977 by NASA as part of a time capsule. The records contain 115 images of human life. [2]
- The Deep-Sea Script appeared on the cover of The Sea of Glittering Stars during Deep-Sea Prisoner's 100th livestream. When deciphered, it translates to ad astra, meaning "to the stars." [2]
Trivia[]
- The title The Sea of Glittering Stars was first revealed in a Skeb commission on the 22nd of February, 2023. Previews of the manga pages were first shown in Deep-Sea Prisoner's 69th drawing livestream. The commissioner asked for a scene from Reficul and Sin's trip to the hotsprings, which Deep-Sea Prisoner had referred to before. Deep-Sea Prisoner also included a sketch of the cover of Records of the Deep Sea with the commission.
