Pulmo (プルモー) is a humanoid barrel jellyfish from Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. She is one of the employees of Uomihime's court.
Physical Description[]
Pulmo's hair is white and goes down to her shoulders. Her two "pigtails" are in truth jellyfish happening to float in a convenient spot. She has raceless white skin and light blue eyes with white pupils taking the shape of jellyfish gonads.
She wears a puffy white collared dress resembling a jellyfish and has three white buttons. She floats around instead of walking. In her official character art, her hair is light blue underneath; however, her hair isn't light blue underneath in her in-game appearance.
Personality[]
Pulmo is kind and loyal, with a bit of a floaty and slow personality. She dreams of going to the world outside the sea and cares a lot about the welfare of her friends. Although commonly seen as tactless and air-headed, she is always thinking.
Her favorite color is green. [1] Her favorite food is "fluffy things," and her specialty is "being fluffy." [1]

Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea Cast[]
Helica[]
Helica is Pulmo's love-interest and co-worker in Uomihime's court. In the manga, in celebration of Wadanohara's successful repairs of the barrier stones, a banquet was held within the Sea God Castle. After getting drunk during the festivities, Helica grabbed ahold of Pulmo and kissed her. Later, in an omake (extra mini-comic) found in the back of the manga, Pulmo made hand puppets of herself and Helica kiss and teased Helica over this. This prompted Helica to kiss her again. In another omake found in the Sea of Death arc, Helica wondered what could be underneath Pulmo's skirt after looking at non-humanoid jellyfish. She lifted Pulmo's skirt up to see, which prompted Pulmo to hit her in response. However, Helica said that it did not hurt.
In a section of the Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea game, Helica and Pulmo could be found in Deepsea Town together. Helica was exercising, claiming her body would rust otherwise, to which Pulmo commented she was dumber than she thought.
Aom[]
Aom is Pulmo's friend. In the the manga, Aom complained about Pulmo's fantasies of venturing outside of the sea, like Wadanohara. When Pulmo kept going, Aom pinched her with her pincers and said that Wadanohara did not leave the sea for fun. She also scolded Pulmo for not sufficiently protecting the Sea Kingdom. Afterwards, when Pulmo talked about the state of affairs in the sea to Wadanohara, Aom grunted that Pulmo was putting too much pressure on Wadanohara. Pulmo retorted that Wadanohara is just very important to the sea.
Tarako[]
Tarako is Pulmo's friend. In the manga, Wadanohara found Tarako snuggled into Pulmo's fluffy skirt. Tarako had ended up there after being hit on the head by Aom, causing Tarako to cry and eventually fall asleep in Pulmo's skirt. Pulmo, who had completely forgotten about Tarako, grabbed them and asked Wadanohara to heal them.
Wadanohara[]
Wadanohara is Pulmo's friend. When Wadanohara came back from her journey, she was greeted by Pulmo on the way to the town, who asked about her trip and reassured Wadanohara the situation was currently fine before leaving to inform the castle of her return. In the manga, when Wadanohara was taking a walk to go greet her friends, she collided against Pulmo's fluffy skirt. She asked her about her surface experience, hugging Wadanohara as she daydreamed of leaving the sea too. In the next chapter, Pulmo suddenly appeared in Wadanohara's window, startling her, telling her the princess had summoned her.
Uomihime[]
Uomihime is Pulmo's princess. From what is seen, Pulmo happily obeys what Uomihime asks of her and the other members of the court.
Tatsumiya[]
Tatsumiya is Pulmo's co-employee in Uomihime's court. They are on good terms. Pulmo asks Tatsumiya for help with a Helica rampage, which seems to be a common occurrence, as she did not react surprised to it. After the Sea of Death arose, Pulmo expressed worry for Tatsumiya by asking whether she was doing alright. During the bonus scene "Love to Stroll", Pulmo teases Tatsumiya about her interest in gruff types like Idate. In a mini-comic in the Sea of Death arc, she also states that Tatsumiya's feelings are obvious even if she hides it.
Syakesan[]
Syakesan is Pulmo's former co-employee of Uomihime's court. Prior to the reveal of Syakesan's true nature, they were on good terms. Pulmo once smiled at him while he cried after being hit by Helica. In the manga, in celebration of Wadanohara's successful repairs of the barrier stones, a banquet was held within the Sea God Castle. Syakesan asked Pulmo why Helica was already drunk, to which Pulmo replied that she could smell the alcohol. Afterwards, when Helica kissed Pulmo while drunk, Syakesan looked at them confused.
After Syakesan's true nature was revealed, he became an enemy of Uomihime's court, including Pulmo.
Creamil, Minero, Rimorimo, & Tomoshibi[]
Creamil, Minero, Rimorimo, and Tomoshibi are Pulmo's acquaintances. She was shown to be concerned about their disappearance.
