Users who have user rights have access to special tools they can utilize for editing in the wikia. If a user is interested in having a special right, they should make sure they meet the requirements listed below.
Rollback
- See Rollbacks for further reading.
- Anyone can revert edits, but it takes some time to do so. Users with Rollback status are able to revert multiple edits by one user with just one click. They can rollback edits through the page's history page or diff page.
- Rollbackers are highlighted with a bronze username.

Discussion Moderator
- See Discussions Moderators for further reading.
- Discussion Moderators are users who moderate conversations that take place in the wiki. They are able to moderate article comments, threads, and board threads.

How to request
- An editor may request for special rights by creating a blog post. Creating a blog post is done by going to one's profile page and clicking the Blog tab. From there, blog posts can be created.
- The title of the blog post should be:
- "USERNAME for RIGHT" (e.g. User for Rollback)
- This has to be strictly done or else the whole application will be void.
- A request should contain the following:
- Username: The requestor's username
- My Contributions: A link to the requestor's contributions page (Special:Contributions/USERNAME).
- Mainspace Edits: Number of mainspace edits (This can be viewed by looking at the process of one's edit count badge).
- Day of joining the wiki: This can be checked by going to one's contributions and sorting on "oldest." The date format should be MONTH DAY, YEAR (Ex: October 9, 2014).
- Are you fifteen years old or above?: Please answer "yes" or "no."
- Others: Other details to satisfy the requirements. A user may persuade the community about why they deserve the position they are going for. The more support, the more likely it might contribute to the admins' judgement.
- Users do not have to strictly follow the format, except for the blog post's title. As long as all the details are there, it should be fine. Do not let it get in the way of getting creative, just keep it in a proper tone, of course.
- Once a user has created a request blog post, they may notify an admin to review the request and edits. Please give them a maximum of one week to review the request.
Important Notes
- All wiki staff must be above the minimum required age to interact with Deep-Sea Prisoner's media; 15+.
- Meeting all requirements does not fully guarantee that a user will be promoted, especially if they do not have a good history in the wiki. Community consensus may be brought up if necessary. If this happens, there may be a possibility that a voting would take place. Users will be given a choice whether to support or oppose the requestor to be promoted. Depending on the position, the requestor should get a certain percentage of supportive votes to be promoted.
- Requestors for Rollback must get at least 60% support for promotion.
- Requestors for Content Moderator and Administrator must get at least 80% support for promotion.
- Requestors for Bureaucracy will always undergo community consensus.
- A user may earn the Key to the Wiki! badge by editing in the wiki everyday for 5 consecutive days.
- A user may earn the Two Weeks on the Wiki badge by editing in the wiki everyday for 14 consecutive days.
- A user may earn the Devoted badge by editing in the wiki everyday for 30 consecutive days.
