The pages on the Okegom Wiki have differing levels of page protection. When a page is protected, some users may be (temporarily) barred from editing it.

This is a locked article. Click for more information.

Protection Levels

Level 1: All users

If a page is an article stub and is not high-traffic, it is set to the protection level 1. This means that anyone with an account can edit the page in question.

To edit on the Okegom Wiki, an account is required. Users can sign up to Fandom for free. For more information, visit the Okegom Wiki Editing Guide for Beginners.

Level 2: Autoconfirmed-only

Autoconfirmed-only pages are only open to accounts that have made their first edit on any wiki four days ago. Most pages on the Okegom Wiki are set to protection level 2.

Level 3: Staff-only

Staff-only pages are only open to Okegom Wiki staff. These pages are typically marked with a lock icon (Locked Icon). A list of locked articles can be found in the designated category. (Note: MediaWiki pages cannot be added to categories and do thus not appear in the list.)

A page may be moved to level 3 protection if it is a common subject of vandalism. Pages that dictate the appearance or rules of the Okegom Wiki are also often set to level 3 protection, either automatically or manually.

If non-staff members have suggestions for edits on level 3 protected pages, they can leave a suggestion on the suggestions board. It is also possible to contact staff members through their message wall or through the Wiki Discord.
