Linaria Purpurea (リナリア・プルプレア) is a character that has yet to make a formal debut in Deep-Sea Prisoner's creations. She is an angel and mother of Syura. She is also currently missing from the character page.

Physical Description

Linaria has raceless white skin, mauve colored eyes, and long lavender hair worn in twin braids with mauve ribbons matching her eye color. She can usually be seen with a white apron and golden halo. In one artwork, she can be seen wearing a pink nurse's uniform with a pink nurse's cap in place of her halo. This same picture depicts her with four wings, suggesting she is potentially a cherub. Her wings are said to be soft and fluffy.

Personality

Deep-Sea Prisoner commented that Linaria "may be more mentally stronger than we think" due to her still retaining her angelic status and has yet to fall. She furthermore stated that Linaria is in love with Hidou, but because she has not become a fallen angel, "she may have something wrong with her head." She is a "half" yandere. Not much else is currently known about Linaria's personality.

Background

Linaria was created by her god Fumus in Kumo-no-Kuni. While in Kumo-no-Kuni, she worked as a nurse in a "hospital-like facility" alongside other employees. It has been said at this facility, the staff were attempting to find a "cure" for "something that is not a disease." It is currently unknown what this alludes to.

Sometime in the past, Linaria Purpurea got kidnapped and brought to Ne-no-Kuni by Hidou. He now uses her to make snuff videos. At some point, Linaria also gave birth to their daughter Syura.

Hidou with Linaria

Hidou is Linaria's kidnapper and the father to their daughter Syura. He is said to be "having his way freely with her." Hidou kidnapped her because he loves her. He sexually assaults and uses her to make snuff videos. Hidou keeps these videos of her to himself and does not sell them. He will sometimes force her to assist him in shooting snuff films of other angels. Hidou will eat the meat off Linaria's wings as well. Despite the suffering Hidou made her go through, Linaria still holds romantic feelings towards him. Regarding their precise relationship, Deep-Sea Prisoner commented, "It is a bit complicated, a bit of a warped thing, and it is actually hard to explain without actually drawing out their story." It was stated Linaria loves Hidou but does not like being violated.

When asked if Hidou views Linaria differently from his other victims and why he wanted to have a child with her, it was stated he loves her. He is also aware of her romantic feelings for him. Hidou thinks she is very cute and treats her like an object. To him, she is akin to "a beloved toy," though it has been said there is more to it than that. Deep-Sea Prisoner added she thinks Hidou is "really the worst." It was further stated Linaria loves Hidou "as naturally as Wadanohara loves Samekichi." Linaria is in love with Hidou, though she has not become a fallen angel; Deep-Sea Prisoner states, "she may have something wrong with her head."

An unnamed angel is said to be an acquaintance of Linaria, although the precise details of their relationship have yet to be revealed.

Aes is Linaria's superior. They worked at the same "hospital-like facility" before Linaria was kidnapped by Hidou. Aes was sad about Linaria's kidnapping. The precise details of their relationship are currently unknown.

  • The flower her name originates from means "notice this love," "a disturbed maiden's heart," and "illusions" in Hanakotoba, the Japanese language of flowers.
• Her name was officially revealed in 2021 on Deep-Sea Prisoner's 44th drawing livestream.
  • Her name had been unofficially revealed in 2018, when empty character slots were accidentally published on Deep-Sea Prisoner's character page.
