Kurotsuno's mansion

Kurotsuno's mansion is where Kurotsuno and her friends live. It is located in Ne-no-Kuni and one of the main settings in Obsolete Dream.

Exterior

Mansion

Kurotsuno's antique mansion contains two stories and at least one tower. An old in-color illustration depicts the mansion in brown.

An in-color, seemingly outdated, design of the mansion. In the Obsolete Dream manga, the tower has been changed, among other aspects.

Courtyard

The front of Kurotsuno's mansion has a courtyard surrounded by a fence. Outside of the fence are pine trees. The courtyard has a tiled floor and contains the roots seen throughout Ne-no-Kuni. These roots resemble the horns of Ne-no-Kuni's devil Satanick. The courtyard appears in Obsolete Dream chapter five.

Patio

A patio/yard was shown in chapter four of Obsolete Dream. It is unknown whether this is the backyard, part of the front yard, or another area altogether.

Met and some fire spirits have made a campfire in the courtyard. Ne-no-Kuni's signifying roots can be seen in the background.

Rooftop

The rooftop of the mansion briefly appears in chapter four of Obsolete Dream. Not much of it has currently been seen.

Ground Floor

Corridor

The corridor of Kurotsuno's mansion was briefly shown in chapter 4 of Obsolete Dream. It has a tiled floor.

First Floor

Balcony

The first floor of Kurotsuno's mansion contains a balcony at the front. This was briefly shown in chapter 4 of Obsolete Dream.

The balcony on the first floor can be seen in the background. The brightness in the image has been increased.

Living Room

The living room on the second floor is styled in a Japanese manner. It contains a kotatsu and has tatami mats on the floor. Next to the window are shoji. Inside the room is also a rotary phone.

The living room appears in chapter 4 of Obsolete Dream, where Met, Bis and Reina can be seen playing Jenga. In chapter 7 , the inhabitants of the house have hot pot in the living room alongside Chlomaki.

Second Floor

Living Room

The living room on the second floor contains a fireplace, dining table, coffee table, and two couches. Both the floor and walls are tiled. The ceiling is a lighter shade and contains tile markings.

Bathroom

A bathroom in Kurotsuno's mansion contains an antique bathtub with the tab and shower head in the middle. The floor is made out of light tiles. On one side of the room, the walls are fully covered in planks of wood. On the other side of the room near the door, the wooden planks end halfway and are exchanged for wallpaper. The windows are covered by lightly striped curtains. Seemingly the door is also made out of wood and contains a four-panel shape in the middle.

The bathroom appears in chapter 8.5 of Obsolete Dream when Kurotsuno takes a bath.

Kurotsuno's Bedroom

Kurotsuno's bedroom contains a lavish canopy bed. From what can be seen, the walls are covered in a patterned Victorian wallpaper. The floors are tiled. The door to the room is made of wooden planks. Next to the door hangs a painting.

The room has only appeared in chapter 8 of Obsolete Dream when Hanten pays Kurotsuno a visit after the latter had a nightmare.

Library

The library in Kurotsuno's mansion contains many bookcases. In the center of the room is a bare table. The library was seen in chapter 6 of Obsolete Dream. Due to the square windows, the library is either on the ground or on the first floor.

Gaming Room

Met and Bis were shown playing video games in an unknown room in chapter 8 of Obsolete Dream. The room contains a vintage television, GameCube, and small table. The walls and floors are both tiled.

Phone

In chapter two of Obsolete Dream an area with a painting and nineteenth-century candlestick rotary phone is shown. It is currently unknown which floor or room the area belongs to.

Hallway 1

A hallway is shown in chapter 6 of Obsolete Dream. It is situated near the library. The doors and floor are made of wooden planks while the walls and ceiling are made of tiles.

Hallway 2

A hallway is shown in chapter 8 of Obsolete Dream. It is seemingly situated near Kurotsuno's bedroom. The walls and ceilings are tiled. The floor is dark and partially carpeted. Due to the square windows, the hallway is on either the ground or first floor.
