Jyuurinmaru (蹂躙丸) is a character that has yet to make a formal debut in Deep-Sea Prisoner's creations. He is Kiku's kanabō.

Physical Description[]

Jyuurinmaru is a pitch-black kanabō (spiked iron club) with a bandaged hilt and grip handle at the end. He also has two asymmetrical eyes with red irises, a long diagonal mouth with razor-sharp fangs, and a long tongue. His female counterpart has eyelashes.

Up to this day, Jyuurinmaru has only appeared in some of Deep-Sea Prisoner's illustrations.

Glasses and Jyuurinmaru are acquaintances. Jyuurinmaru hates him ^[1] ^[2] because he is dating Kiku. ^[2]

Trivia[]

Jyuurinmaru's name was revealed during Deep-Sea Prisoner's 105th livestream.
The beginning of Jyuurinmaru's name, "Jyuurin," (蹂躙) means to trample with violence, power, or other forces. The word also gives a powerful and rough impression. Maru (丸) is a suffix that was often given at the end of children's names or names of ships to ward off evil.
In an illustration Jyuurinmaru is seen as a participant of a Hyakki Yagyō also known as "Night Parade of One Hundred Demons."
