Funamushi Private Deep-Sea Academy (フナム私立海底学園) is an alternate universe (AU) of Deep-Sea Prisoner's characters created by Deep-Sea Prisoner herself. It features her characters in a highschool setting and is described as peaceful.

Differences From Canon

The different sections below are there to categorize the characters. However, all characters in this AU exist in the same setting.

The Gray Garden

• Ivlis and Yosafire are friends as shown in a TEGAKI draw.

• Sherbet and Yosaflame are alive, the fathers of Froze and Yosafire respectively.

• Sherbet and Yosaflame are not enemies. However, Yosaflame still hates Sherbet very much, and Sherbet likes Yosaflame very much.

Mogeko Castle

• Defect Mogeko and Yonaka Kurai are dating. They are said to be "very close", and they also live together. Yonaka likes to age play with him.

• Defect Mogeko is an adult but is enrolled in kindergarten.

• Moge-ko and Moge-kov are regular high school girls. Yonaka trained Moge-ko to be her pet.

Seaside Dispatches

• Victor Flankenstein is the school nurse.
  • Victor's physical appearance is slightly different than during the events of Seaside Dispatches 2, which is set in a more dated period. His glasses are only seen in this AU.

• Ivlis and Satanick have their first kiss following an invitation from Satanick during a "beautiful sunset" after their date. After this, they go to a love hotel.

• When Ivlis became pregnant, Igls Unth and Siralos were very angry with Satanick. After being repeatedly punched in the stomach by them, he was hung up. Ivlis panicked, reassuring them, "You've got it all wrong! I decided to give birth." They then let Satanick go.

• Ivlis uses a flipphone, since a cellphone does not respond to his scaled hands.

• Burineko and Sataneko also differ from canon. In the normal timelines, Ivlis is changed into this form by Satanick. In the school AU, Burineko is a cute kitty copied from Ivlis' hair and lives in Adauchi's and Poemi's room.
  • In the regular timeline, Sataneko is Satanick's transformation, trying to mate with Burineko at every possible opportunity. In the school AU, he is a copy of Satanick. He was originally sent into Ivlis' house for surveillance purposes but rebelled against Satanick. (He now lives with Burineko.)

The Sun's Curse

Ivlis and Siralos on good terms.

• Ivlis and Siralos are on good terms.

Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea

• Meikai and Wadanohara's mother, the Moon Spirit, are both still alive. However, due to the Moon Spirit's work, she is rarely seen.

• Namikaze is still alive. Old is also alive and raises his kids as a single father. Namikaze left him because she had enough of him.

• Old and Tatsumiya are on good terms. They often go out drinking with Meikai on their way home from work.

• Namikaze and Namiho are enjoying a vacation on a southern island together.

• Syakesan has no romantic interest in Wadanohara.

• Syakesan and Samekichi get along well and live together.
  • Syakesan teases Samekichi when Wadanohara and him are texting and grinning at each other.

• Syakesan works at a maid café (based on a TEGAKI drawing). He is into cosplay to begin with and does not really care about the monetary aspect when working at the café.

• Mikotsuhime and Uomihime are very good friends.

Ice Scream

• On Valentine's Day, Yukisada is said to be cute and kind and prefers to be the one to make and distribute chocolates to everyone. Because Yukisada's cute, he gets chocolate from all kinds of people regardless of gender.

Various

Lobco and Roc

• Roc Hijoushiki does not kidnap or abuse Lobco, although he is still pushy and trying to pressure her to become his girlfriend. Roc will take Lobco on dates to both ordinary and unusual places.

• Satanick and Syakesan are shown fighting in an illustration in regards to their differing tastes; Syakesan likes NTR (netorare) while Satanick likes true love.

Locations

Ice Cream Shop

An ice cream shop inspired by Baskin-Robbins and their flavors.

• • Ivlis orders orange sorbet and yellow sherbet.
  • Satanick orders "caramel ribbon" or "love potion."
  • Licorice orders "popping/hopping shower."
  • Idate orders "choco-ring donut" flavor.
  • Yukisada orders "nuts to you" or vanilla.
  • Takama orders anko bean paste.

Donut Shop

A donut shop based on Mister Donut.

• Ivlis likes "Bon-de-ring" donuts.
• Satanick prefers "Angel Cream" and "Donut Pops."
• Licorice gets "Angel French."
• Licorice also really wanted "Donut Pops" but did not want to choose the same one as his father.
• Syakesan gets custard cream.

Restaurant

A restaurant based on Saizeriya.

• Satanick orders carbonara, an espresso, pudding and tiramisu.
• Licorice also wanted carbonara, but since he did not want the same thing as his father, he orders Hamburg steak and orange juice. Licorice also ordered pudding, contemplating if he should change his order to not match Satanick's. However, he kept the pudding since he badly wanted it.
• Ivlis orders grilled chicken, mountain grape juice, and chocolate cake. Satanick assumed Ivlis was picking this drink to charm him due to its color.
• After a meal, Satanick, Ivlis, and Licorice order pizzas to bring home to their families.
• Idate immediately orders a large steak. He wanted alcohol with his meal, yet Takama reprimanded him, so Idate reluctantly ordered a Coke.
• Takama chose an appetizer salad, spaghetti with mushrooms and chicken, and an espresso.
• Shirogane and Yukisada eat together (with Yukisada initiating to go together) and happily share potatoes and popcorn shrimp. Yukisada orders shrimp doria while waiting for Shirogane to decide.
• Shirogane wanted to order Hamburg steak with egg on the side but reconsidered, not wanting to offend Yukisada by eating red meat and eggs in front of him. In the menu, they came across the egg page and Shirogane panics, quickly flipping to look at pasta options instead while Yukisada asks, "Hm? What's wrong?"
• Shirogane eventually ordered spaghetti al nero di Seppia and cried.
• Emalf dines alone. He invited Yosafire to join him; she said no. He ordered a cold bowl of pumpkin soup that expressed his sadness and a melon soda since it reminded him of her.
• Emalf desperately ate a lot (spicy grilled chicken, Arrosticini, grilled spicy sausages, and Hamburg steak) and ended up with a stomachache.

Trivia

• Funamushi Deep-Sea Private Academy, or "Funamu Shiritsu Kaitei Gakuen" in rōmaji, contains a bit of wordplay. The first syllable in “private” is shi, completing the word “funamushi,” which Deep-Sea Prisoner uses as an alias for her site and herself.
• Mogeko teachers would never ban dating in the school AU.
