Deep-Sea Prisoner's 79th drawing livestream took place on the 1st of October, 2022. It was 3 hours and 56 minutes long.

New Information[]

  • Fukami's love for Wadanohara will remain unrequited for the rest of his life. He almost accepted Syakesan's temptation once but refused. Seeing Wadanohara prioritize what she had to do over her feelings made him realize he had been caught up in selfish emotions. His love for her has not changed at all. Fukami told Syakesan letting his desires take over would not lead to Wadanohara's happiness. He thought about it in his own way and gave an answer to his feelings. Watching over and supporting her became the love he gave her.
  • Deep-Sea Prisoner stated that Fukami is the sort of character caught between putting his own needs first (like Syakesan) or acting without regard for himself (like Samekichi).
  • After the True Ending, grown-up Fukami feels more comfortable and speaks more often than he did before.
  • Deep-Sea Prisoner considers The Blue Sea Witch ending the worst. Syakesan and the rest of the Sea of Death inhabitants get sealed in the Cast Pearl by Wadanohara similarly to how Meikai did in the past. Samekichi takes his own life, unable to bear the loss, on the rock he first met her.
  • If Wadanohara were to fall for someone other than Samekichi, he would stop pursuing her if it made her happy. However, Deep-Sea Prisoner stated this is likely never going to happen. Samekichi continuously thinks of her.
  • Adauchi may make an appearance as a main character in a game. Deep-Sea Prisoner said that the story seems to primarily be about his rebellion.
  • Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea originally had a very different True Ending. In this concept ending, Fukami betrays Wadanohara after being tempted by Syakesan and kills Memoca. Dolpi dies protecting Wadanohara from him, and Wadanohara ends up killing Fukami. Syakesan mortally wounds Samekichi and is then killed by Wadanohara. Wadanohara finally sacrifices herself to restore the sea to its former state and disappears. In despair, Samekichi ends his own life.
  • Fukami's blood is blue. The octopus suckers on his pants are just decoration.
  • The reason Wadanohara's eyes are gray is due to the concept of being an innocent person not stained by any color. It was none other than Samekichi who affirmed this in her. Samekichi is a representation of altruistic love.
