- In regards to Shrimp's family relationships, Deep-Sea Prisoner stated "she has some stuff going on." Furthermore, Shrimp is blonde due to her being mix-raced. It was also stated she has a few problems due to being mixed, though what exactly this alludes to remains unknown as of now.
- Dying Tomorrow is a story about a school where a lot of students with complicated backgrounds gather.
- Nataka Kurokawa does not have a father and her mother is never home. The only one present when she returns home is her aunt's African gray parrot who she takes care of.
- Tomoe Yahata has a decent family life.
