Crea Flankenstein (クレア・フランケンシュタイン) is a major character in Seaside Dispatches 2. She is Victor Flankenstein's daughter and currently resides in Ne-no-Kuni.
Physical Description[]
Crea has white pale skin, black and pink hair, and black and green eyes. The black half of her hair is curly, while the pink half is straight. She also has a screw stuck in her head, the head of said screw sticking out the right side of her head, and the tip sticking out the left side of her head. Red ribbons are tied to both sides of the screw. She's covered in stitches, being apparent on her face and fingers as well.
She wears a black hoodie with white cuffs, red striped shirt with a white collar, and stitched-up black tie. She also wears a black skirt with a white petticoat. She wears socks matching her shirt and black and white sneakers with green soles and laces as well. Her sneakers are decorated by red dots and green symbols resembling the ones in her eyes.
Personality[]
When Crea was first brought into this world, she was awkward and clumsy. After some time she grew into a thoughtful and sweet girl. She is often seen comforting her adoptive father Satanick when he is feeling depressed about the passing of Victor Flankenstein, her original father. She furthermore likes sweets and omurice. Her hobbies include reading books and drawing. [1] Victor taught her a lot, so she is said to be very smart and good with her studies. [1] However, since coming to live with Satanick, she is a little childish. [1] She sometimes attends school. [2]
Background[]
A mad scientist called Victor Flankenstein used to have two daughters, but both tragically died in an accident. As such, Victor used their bodies to create a new girl, who came to be known as Crea Flankenstein. Crea was quite awkward and clumsy at first, and had limited talking capabilities. With time however, she grew into a thoughtful and sincere girl, yet her range of emotions were still limited. She never laughed or cried. Victor blamed himself for this. When Victor passed away, however, Crea cried for the first time.
Victor had made Satanick promise to take Crea to Ne-no-Kuni after he passed away. As such, Crea now lives there together with him. She attends school in Ne-no-Kuni. [1]

Victor Flankenstein[]
Victor was Crea's father and creator. He created her using the bodies of his two deceased daughters, yet he does not have her call him dad as he feels he "does not deserve it." From what can be seen of their interactions, the two got along well. While he was alive, he taught her a lot. [1] However, Victor blamed himself for Crea's limited range of emotions, having never laughed or cried, not knowing joy or sorrow. Unbeknownst to Victor, Crea cried for the first time ever after his death.
Satanick[]
Satanick is Crea's adoptive father. At first he saw her as an extraordinary creation but soon began loving her like a daughter. Before Victor Flankenstein passed away, he made Satanick promise to take care of her. Crea and Satanick are on good terms. When Satanick is feeling depressed about the passing of Victor, Crea is usually there to comfort him. In one drawing, for example, she offered him candy in an attempt to cheer him up. Satanick lets Crea call him "Lord Devil" as she will only ever have one father. [3]
Licorice[]
Licorice is Crea's adoptive brother. Although the two have not been seen interacting, they are said to be friends. [4]

Envi is Crea's caretaker and friend. She is very attached to him. [1] He once made omurice for her in a mini-comic.

Medouco is Crea's caretaker and friend. They play together alongside Reley Lo, often enjoying tea parties, walks, and chatting over pretty sweets. [1]

Natural Abilities[]
- Nigh-Absolute Immortality - Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Crea cannot die from aging. [5]
- Super Strength - As shown in Seaside Dispatches 2, Crea possesses the ability to lift Satanick.
- Murderous State - An illustration shows Crea going into a murderous state when the screw on her head is turned counter-clockwise.
Trivia[]
- The name "Crea" comes from the word "creation."
- In Seaside Dispatches 2, Crea can be seen with two screws on the side of her head. However, other artwork depicts her with one side broken. There is a reason as to why this is, but the details have yet to be revealed. [6]
- In a now deleted omake, it was shown Crea had originally been a request made by Satanick for Victor to created a little girl, despite protest from the latter who wanted to make a huge monster. This was later changed in Seaside Dispatches 2.
- There is a scene in Seaside Dispatches 2 where Crea picks flowers in the garden. This is a reference to a scene in the movie adaptation of Frankenstein. [7]
- Crea may appear alongside Satanick's Subordinates in upcoming comics. [8]
