Deities and death, previously referred to as "shinigami", are a species in Deep-Sea Prisoner's works. They represent the "kamis" (gods) but not in the creator sense. [2] They also appear to be mainly involved with demons. Not much else is currently known about them.

Physical Characteristics[]

Some deities appear to be based off actual deities, such as Bis and Sibuna who are based on the Ancient Egyptian god Anubis, who was the deity of the dead and embalming and protector of tombs and cemeteries. Rieta's design takes inspiration from the Jinn, who are also regarded as deities.
