Carnival Rhythm is an upcoming RPG-maker game by Deep-Sea Prisoner. It is previewed as one of the upcoming games in the Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea Bonus Room.
Premise
Carnival Rhythm centers around Sachiko Ebihara, a human highschool girl who, after getting into a fight with her friend, ends up in a world inhabited by many demons who love human meat. [1] The world of Carnival Rhythm is divided into the seasons of spring, summer, fall, and winter. Each seasonally inspired area is considered a territory with a potential lord. [1]Majority of the game will follow Sachiko as she wanders this world. [1]
Production Status
As of the 17th of July, 2021, during her 40th livestream, Deep-Sea Prisoner showcased her progress on Carnival Rhythm. It was stated Carnival Rhythm will be finished before The Gray Garden (Remake). [2]
Age Rating
Carnival Rhythm will be rated R-18G due to depictions of gore. By comparison, Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea was rated R-15 by Deep-Sea Prisoner.

- "Carnival Rhythm" is a pun on "cannibalism." [3] In Japanese, the pronunciation of the game's title is the exact same as "cannibalism."
- In regards to if the world of Carnival Rhythm is in Ne-no-Kuni or a separate world, Deep-Sea Prisoner stated it would be a spoiler. [4]
- Deep-Sea Prisoner would like to incorporate a feature that would allow the player to collect rare items such as a maid dress. The clothing can then be worn throughout the duration of the game. [5]
- Deep-Sea Prisoner is considering hosting a new character popularity poll after the release of Carnival Rhythm. [6]
