Beniduru/Akeduru (紅鶴/朱鶴) is a character that has yet to make a formal debut in Deep-Sea Prisoner's creations. They are a crane with a dissociative disorder. [1]
Physical Description[]
Beniduru has yellow eyes with red lining below. She also has raceless white skin, white hair with long bangs covering her left eye and red layering behind it. Her bangs and hair also have purple and red spots; her feathers appear above the red spots. She wears a red yukata with crane patterns on it. However, her sleeves turn into white feathers. She also wears brown geta with the thong being red.
While as Akeduru, his eyes, skin and hair remain the same as his female form, but his hair is shorter and has more feathers above. He wears traditional Japanese clothing consisting of a black kimono with a red juban underneath, a gray hakama, a black haori which the sleeves turn into white feathers, white haori himo, pair of brown geta and pair of white tabi (socks). He also has long sharp red nails and holds a kiseru.
Personality[]
Beniduru/Akeduru is known to have a dissociative disorder. [1] Akeduru seems to have a more negative personality while Beniduru appears to be gentle as depicted in illustrations.

Not much is currently known about Beniduru/Akeduru's past.

Up to this day, Beniduru/Akeduru has only appeared in some of Deep-Sea Prisoner's illustrations.

Hazad is Beniduru's lover as shown in a Valentine's Day illustration by Deep-Sea Prisoner.

Natural Abilities[]
- Nigh-Absolute Immortality - Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Beniduru/Akeduru cannot die from natural causes such as aging or disease. [2]
- Animal Transformation - Being a crane, they are able to switch between a humanoid and animal form.
Trivia[]
- Akeduru means "vermilion crane" while Beniduru means "crimson crane" in Japanese. [3]
- Beniduru and Akeduru were previously romanized as Benizuru and Akezuru respectively. [1]
- Previously on Deep-Sea Prisoner's character page, clicking on Beniduru's character portrait (0070) would load Akeduru's (0070-2).
