Arbus (アルバス) is a supporting character from The Gray Garden. She is one of Kcalb's two demon cat underlings, the other being her twin sister Ater. She is also one of the handful of survivors from The Great War.
Physical Description[]
Arbus has short black hair cut into a bob cut. She also has red eyes with white pupils, white cat ears matching her pointed white tail, and two pairs of small white bat wings.
Like Ater, she wears something similar to a school uniform, consisting of a white dress shirt with a red tie, a light gray blazer with a dark gray collar with a light gray line accenting the edge of the collar, dark gray pockets, and white cuffs with two black buttons near them. She also wears a dark gray pleated skirt with a lighter gray line accenting the edge, red checkered leggings/tights, boots with the top folded over and having small four black buttons, and a little bat wing sticking out on both boots. However, these wings are missing from her character portrait. Her in-game character design shows her with two demon tails, but her character portrait depicts her with only one. She is sometimes shown holding a white trident with three diamond shapes at the top and two smaller batwing shapes below them at the sides.
Personality[]
Much like her twin sister, Arbus is described to be a huge troublemaker and idiot. Frequently sticking her nose into situations uninvited with not even Kcalb trusting her, she handles everything in a carefree and calm manner no matter how serious the problem is. When her sister and her get the chance, they will take routes and paths allowing them the most fun, making up excuses and shifting the blame for when they get berated later.
Although she acts goofy, compared to her sister, she is more understanding of her surroundings and conflicts. While it is Ater who regularly asks the questions and wonders, Arbus gives the answers and possibilities. Despite how untrustworthy she is, she still handles her job quite well and even finds it fun in most cases as seen when she killed Emalf’s familiar and left nothing but its entrails. She also helps others in need and advises the best for them as seen when confronting Dialo and Chelan in the Sea of Tears and Yosafire, Froze, Rawberry, and Macarona during Emalf’s speech.
Background[]
During the Great War between angels and demons, Arbus fought together with her sister Ater alongside her devil Kcalb. The war eventually ended, leaving Arbus and Ater as two of the six survivors.
Arbus and Ater continued working under Kcalb as his subordinates after the war. They now live in Blancblack Castle alongside Kcalb and Etihw.
