Aom has light icy-blue hair tied into a single braid. The two antennae on her head are icy-blue as well. Aom also has dark eyes with white pupils and raceless white skin. Two large river prawn claws sprout from her back. Aom wears blue overalls with large pockets over a dark long-sleeved shirt with a white collar. She also wears blue knee-high boots over striped stockings.
Personality[]
Aom has a somewhat laid back yet blunt attitude. In the Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea manga, she has a somewhat serious attitude as shown in her treatment of Irena not deterring Wadanohara. However, despite her bluntness, Aom cares for her friends. She enjoys reading and exercising but hates heat and caterpillars. [1]
Background[]
Aom used to live on a river but later migrated to the Blue Sea. [2] According to Deep-Sea Prisoner, her background was inspired by her motif of being a river prawn. [2]

Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea Cast[]
Lobco[]
Lobco is Aom's best friend. In Aom's home, there is a photograph of her with Lobco.
Since Lobco is pessimistic and spends a majority of her time outside of the sea, Aom worries about her a lot. When Aom confronted Lobco about working with Chlomaki and asked if it was stressful, Lobco chose to lie about having fun outside of the sea, and Aom believed her.
Wadanohara[]
Wadanohara is Aom’s friend. Aom harbors a deep sense of respect towards her. When Wadanohara returned to the Blue Sea after visiting the Witch World, she had a brief conversation with Aom who described her as still “being a kid at heart” and on the “slow side.” Wadanohara, in turn, was confused by this. When Irena tired to deter Wadanohara by asking her to nap together, Aom poked Irena's cheek, correcting her behavior.
Pulmo[]
Pulmo is Aom's friend. In the the manga, Aom complained about Pulmo's fantasies of venturing outside of the sea, like Wadanohara. When Pulmo kept going, Aom pinched her with her pincers and said Wadanohara did not leave the sea for fun. She also scolded Pulmo for not sufficiently protecting the Sea Kingdom. Afterwards, when Pulmo talked about the state of affairs in the sea to Wadanohara, Aom grunted that Pulmo was putting too much pressure on Wadanohara. Pulmo retorted that Wadanohara is just very important to the sea.
Tarako[]
Tarako is Aom's friend. In the manga, Aom smacked them in the head for unknown reasons, making them cry until they fell asleep. Despite this, they are later seen defending themselves together when the Sea of Death invades. Aom is frequently seen paired up with Tarako and Irena. When the Totsusa Kingdom arrived to attack, all three of them met up in Deepsea Town.
Irena[]
Irena is Aom's friend and neighbor. They are frequently seen paired with Tarako. When the Totsusa Kingdom arrived to attack, all three of them met up in Deepsea Town. During an in-game flashback, the two can be found gossiping together at Irena's house. However, Aom reprimands Irena's usual blunt demeanor when necessary. In the manga, she pokes Irena's cheek when she tried to deter Wadanohara by asking her to nap together.
Abilities[]
Natural Abilities[]
- Nigh-Absolute Immortality - Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Aom cannot die from natural causes such as aging or disease. [3]

- Underwater Breathing - Being a prawn, she can naturally breathe underwater.
