Alternative universes (AUs) are settings that depart from an original story with changes to characters and plotline. Deep-Sea Prisoner has created some AUs featuring her original characters, an overview of which can be found below.

Oiran (AU)

The Oiran AU features Ivlis as an oiran named Buriran. In this AU, he is sold off by Siralos, who is a shogun, to a yūkaku called Mogewara, a wordplay on Yoshiwara. During his time there, Satanick, who is a daimyo, meets Ivlis and takes a liking to him upon first sight. Satanick begins to travel to Mogewara again and again to meet Buriran, eating and talking with him a few times before sleeping with him as per the custom. Eventually, Satanick pays a large amount of money to take Buriran as his wife. Licorice is later born after the two are wed. In this AU, Ivlis is not forced into anything as Satanick and him are "lovey-dovey" with each other.
